Neenah creative collection paper1/14/2024 ![]() Since Versafine is not alcohol marker friendly, I had to be careful not to overlap the ink when coloring the background. I put the cardstock back in my Misti, inked the flower pot portion of the stamp with Versafine Clair in Blue Bell and restamped the pot.Īgain, in retrospect, I should have completed the background before stamping the pot. Next, I cut a mask from 4″ wide Mint Low Tack Tape to cover the lower part of the leaves. I also added W0 and W1 to warm up the color of the pottery. Once succulent was colored, I added shading along one side of the flower pot (BV0000, BV000) to add to the roundness of the pot. In retrospect, I probably wouldn’t use B18 because it was too bright. The blue combination consisted of B12, B14, B16, and B18. I added BV20 and BV23 to push the darker areas back to add depth to the image. The main colors for the purple leaves were BV000, BV00, BV01, BV02 and BV04. I made sure that I had enough contrast between the leaves of the succulent so that they didn’t all run together. The leaves of the succulent were colored using the markers listed below. I left the stamp in place in the Misti so that I could go back later and restamp the flower pot. To start, I used my Misti to stamp the image on Hammermill cardstock using Distress Ink in Speckled Egg.
